Tiliva Resort is on the northern coast of Kadavu Island approximately 10 minutes from the stunning Astrolabe Reef where world famous diving and game fishing reefs are the main attractions while weddings and honeymooners and families being the secondary holiday market.

Tiliva Resort is the only middle market resort on this end of Kadavu, the rest being back packers so the resort receives those guests who wish to dive the reef but stay in comfortable surroundings with great amenities. Tiliva Resort comprises;

Bures: (Bungalows) All the bures are set back about 20 yards from the beach and are nestled in the trees for privacy. The bures are built of solid block offering full en-suite facilities, high wooden ceilings, fully tiled throughout and have a side deck and front veranda. All the doors and windows are meshed against mosquitoes.

The six bures are approx: 6 metres x 6 metres with a covered front veranda of approximately 2 metres wide.

Main Building: The main building houses, reception, dining room, back office, bar, porch area, kitchen, staff shower and toilet and male/female toilet for the guests. This again is tiled throughout and has high wooden ceilings. The approximate size is:

Diving: Our dive shop is near the beach and is fully equipped with compressor, 18 tanks which are still in service, wet suits, fins, snorkel etc. There is also a 28 feet dive boat with 150 hp engine and 30 hp kicker that takes the guests diving on the reef. This boat can also be used for transfers to/from Suva (the mainland capital). Two other open fibre boats are used by the resort as run arounds.

Business: The resorts main tourism market is from the United States and Europe with growing demand from Australia, NZ and Asia. The resort has been successfully operating for 5 years and all the hard work has been completed building both the resort and the business. It presents an ideal opportunity for a new owner to step in and take over the resort business. The resort is marketed to clients through a network of travel agents so it is now well established.

The relationship with the local village is extremely good and many of the villagers helped build the resort and now work there.
